Upgrade your Orca3D to Rhino 6 now.
Any naval architect should start a project with a vessel hull made in Rhino and then conduct initial hydrostatic analysis with Orca3D. As a naval architect and founder of RhinoCentre, I have always used Rhino as an integral 3D design tool together with Orca3D. It always amazed me how slow many ‘high end’ naval architecture tools are compared to the Orca3D plugin. Especially in the initial design phase this is crucial. In my view, the early stage of design should be done with Rhino/Orca3D and at a later time, high end analysis can be done with more specific tools like NAPA, Maxsurf, GHS, Pias etc.
