V-ray
for Rhino basic to intermediate training
Goal: After
this two day course you're able to visualise your 3d models with the
professional render engine
V-Ray. This course is developed for designers who like to make their own
renderings to be more flexible,
efficient and productive in showing the quality of their design to their
customers.
About V-ray
Vray for Rhino is an integrated rendering plugin for Rhino. It supports
global illumination, glossy reflections and refractions,
has a built-in sun and sky system and works with HDRI imaging.
With a single Vray for Rhino licence, you can render on as much as 10
PC’s simultaniously using distributed rendering.
Training schedule
During this two day workshop/training you will learn the fundamentals
of
Vray.
The main purpose of this training is to make you comfortable with the
interface
and learn the important and less important bells and whistles.
Based on several example files, you will learn what this powerfull
rendering
engine has to offer and you will learn how to set Vray to
make fast
draft
renderings as well as high quality material, ready for
printing and
brochures.
The training will globally cover the following topics:

Rendering with and without global illumination
•
Rendering with global illumination environment (sky/sun)
•
HDRI concept and lighting
•
Learn how to create proper materials like glass, plastic,
metal, wood
•
Learn how to use the mapping interface (this is an
integrated part of
Rhino) and mapping types.
